CB350/360 Valve guides

Drop in replacement valve guides for all 350 and 360 Honda twins. Same as 360 guides (except bronze) and an upgrade for the 350 as they didn't use a seal.

One of our customers brought us his somewhat neglected 71 cb175, having just retired his SV650 he needed something els to race.
Let the fun begin!!
Right out of the box it was a runner, so that end was taken care of for now. We stared with new rims and tires,(who needs the old heavy steel rims anyway), new aluminum rims and Bridgestone BT-39. We are after all building a race bike, gone with the stock seat, wiring harness and bars, now fitted with some of our buddy Bret Edwards Body work,(Glass From The Past),Belly pan, seat pan and Dunstal fairing. The bike now sports our fairing stay and seat riser. We are getting somewhere now. The stock exhaust is HEAVY and just will not do, so on to the pipe. He was just a little worried about having his leg burn so we we set him up with a dashing new big breathing 2:2 low pipes, these are tucked in tight and clean behind Motobits rear sets to maximize ground clearance and minimize crash exposure.
A fine start to a good race bike. Stay tuned for more of this bike as we will be posting more photos as the build continues this winter, as for now, well he is off to the track, and thats what we like.

FRESH FROM THE R&D DEPARTMENT!!!!

WE got together with the good folks over at Schumann Motor Works and have come up with the best Valve train available for your 160/175,

We spent the past year running this system in our bikes and a few other select bikes. We wanted to see just what they could handled, if they could hold up to the high RPM's over the course of one of our race seasons. Well, this stuff is the best valve train on the market.

This system is not just your average valve train,

Valves: 1.5mm oversize intake and exhaust made from EV8 grade stainless. Swirl polished and undercut for flow. Hard chromed stems for wear resistance.

Guides: Manganese bronze alloy for wear resistance and heat conductivity

Seals: Viton construction for high temp operation with 5% Teflon for wear resistance

Springs: Oval wire progressive wind single coil

Retainers: Aerospace grade titanium

Keepers: Radius groove top-lock, the strongest design used in F1, NASCAR etc.

Lash Caps: prevents valve tip wear and provides wider contact area for aggressive cam profiles

Hardened spring seats.

This is a propitiatory system, will not work with any of the Kibble White components.

So I have started the prototype cb160 Intake manifold for use with the Keihin PE carburetor and hope to have something for sale some time very soon, I will keep everyone up to speed on the progress, look like it will be a winner.

Well the 160 "Y" Pipe is now in production and available for purchase, here it is used for a high pipe application but can be put to use in any way you want. later I will have available a complete system for sale.

FT500 (lets hang thousands of $'s of parts on a $500.00 bike)

The ft500 ascot with all of its cosmetic and starter problems can still can be a very attractive bike, so I got my hands on one and went to work.

First, get rid of the GOD DAM head light and clocks, ( YUK, who's idea was that ).have never liked the square headlight bucket, plus the stuff on the ascot is way to pronounced, if they had mounted them just a little lower it may have sold better. this one will get a standard 7" black bucket, ( I think the nt650 bucket would make a nice donor ).

Now on to the wheels and other funky 80's Honda suspension stuff. I started with fork's and wheel set off a ATK 605, ( I will be not using them on the finished bike as they have since been sold ).

The exhaust will be the PB Cycle Works FT head pipe that I have put together and hope will work well, ( not tested just yet ).
Exhaust exit will be left side hi, ( just to get on the nerves of the flat track purist ). A round aluminum can will end the hole mess.
